Anticipating the weekend. One of my coworkers lives in the mountains and has invited some of us to join him and his wife this weekend for a get-together. I'm planning on making Jerrold's awesome Rotel Dip to take along and I'm going to try to tweak it just a little to add some extra spice to it. I'm excited!

Drawing some random shapes and designs. I really like it. It helps clear my head and it's a good pastime. It may sound a little juvenile, but it's something I really enjoy doing. So I'll keep on doing it.

Drinking lots and lots of water! I've been drinking an insane amount. Maybe my body is all dried out from the humidity change between Alabama/Georgia and Colorado. Who knows, but I feel like I'm drinking way too much.

Enjoying having two monitors! Well, kind of. I have my computer and TV on a desk right next to each other, and Josh fixed it so that I have double monitors if I switch the input to my computer. It's so cool! I've been doing Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign on a 24" screen of goodness! I didn't think it was going to be as awesome as it is, but I am so loving it.

Hunting an apartment. I've been living with a friend since I moved and I'm trying to find a place of my own. They're so nice to be letting me stay here though, I'm so thankful. I have a few to look at this weekend, and I'm very hopeful that one will work out!

Listening to Clarensau. I have mentioned them before, but they are just amazing. I ended up purchasing their three albums off iTunes and Amazon MP3 and I have been listening to it over and over. I love the music, the singing, the words...it is all great. I have been having a great time rocking out to it on my way to and from work.

Loving the snow here in Denver. I'm sure it will wear off soon, but for now I love it. I love the snow in my face, in my hair, on my shoes, up to my knees! I love scraping it off my car. I know, I'm silly and probably crazy for that one, but I don't mind it at all (though it is much easier with a snow brush than a container lid...).

Psyched that I have some furniture to redo! I wasn't able to bring anything with me when I moved, so I've picked up a few things from thrift stores. I got a desk for $15 and a nightstand for $2.99. They both need some work (mainly because they're a little ugly right now) and I'm looking forward to some favorable weekend weather when I can get outside and work on them.

Reading The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin. My reading has been going a little slow because I've been so busy and tired, but I'm really enjoying this book. I'm about to get into April, which I believe is Parenting. I don't have any children, but I think it should still be interesting and there's probably still a lot to be learned from it.

Okay, it's bedtime... I have a lot to do before work in the morning so I have to get up extra early. Goodnight world!

    1. Oh awesome! Yes, the book is great, I'll probably read some before bed. I'll do a review when I finish it, but my reading has been falling behind lately...been so busy!
